We met at an indoor netball court. Wade was putting together a team, and his sister knew that I lived nearby so asked if I wanted to play. Obviously, I was impressed with Wade's passing skills, and Wade must have liked my defensive moves. After some team-bonding drinks in Hamilton (widely regarded as the city of love) where the two of us ended up listening to Purple Rain in a karaoke bar followed by sharing a foot-long Subway, we realised there was a spark there and decided to go on a proper first date back in Auckland. We never would have thought that it would be the start of a pretty cool adventure together. Now here we are getting married!

Haley and the girls got ready at Formosa Golf Resort in Whitford, super chill morning although Haley was feeling the nerves a little. We fixed that with a thrash around on the gold cart haha
Wade quickly got ready at Turanga Creek ready for the first look with Haley, was a super sweet moment. Especially after Haley gave Wade a gift of a little photo of his late Mum to put on his suit.
I hadn’t seen this before, but Haley and Wade decided to tape the rings underneath one of the ceremony chairs so that one of the guests would get a little surprise during the ceremony, which made for a great little moment.

Being the winter season we managed to duck off for sunset straight after cocktail hour for a short time to get some nice shots in the stunning light out the back of Turanga Creek before entering the reception
